" Midwest Gold Challenge"
This is a 8 show event between the states of Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. Purpose of these shows are to promote the showing of palomino horses between these states.
Rules:
U Each state will designate one of their regular horse show to be the Midwest Gold Challenge show.
U 2007 Must show in 5 of the 8 states’ approved shows to qualify for the year end awards. Friday shows are not required but you must show 2 days each weekend to qualify for the weekend.
U Each State would pay in $250.00 for the year end awards and this fee is to be paid to a designated treasurer by May 1 of the year for the shows.
U Each Amateur or Youth nominee will have a fee of $10.00 per horse/per exhibitor/per award. Each Open nominee will have a fee of $10.00 per horse / per award. These fees will be added to the awards account. Points are not retroactive.
U A designated point secretary will be appointed to handle the bank account and to calculate the high points.
U Results of each nominated horse, from each state’s show, will be sent to the designated point secretary within 21 days after their show to be tabulated. $50.00 penalties would apply to each state not meeting this requirement.
(This requirement is the same as PHBA’s show result requirement)
U Hi points would be based on the PHBA National Point System.

4.Youth 14-18 13. Halter Geldings Amateur
5.Amateur Performance 14. Halter Stallions Open
6.Am Select Performance 15. AM Halter Stallions
7.Jr Performance Horse 16. Open Color
8.Sr Performance Horse 17. Amateur Color
6.Contesting/Gaming Horse 18.Nov Am Perf
